If on the other hand you prefer something less active but perhaps a bit more cultural or educational or simply enjoyable there is a wide choice of organised walking tours in and around Bath. Wellow Trekking Centre specialises in creating action packed days for those of all ages
Adults can enjoy the experience of field or target archery. If that’s not your thing then you can always try your hand at clay pigeon shooting and perfect your aim.
Archery may be combined with either clay pigeon shooting or horse riding
Children can spend the day at Frank’s Farm and visit all the working animals and pets on the farm.
Wellow Trekking Centre is also located on the Colliers Way cycle route and to help you experience the route bikes are available for hire at a nominal fee.

Bailey Balloons offer hot air balloon flights from Bath and Bristol. Bailey Balloons is run by Jo and Clive Bailey who are both passionate balloonists and pride themselves on their friendly personal approach, and excellent customer service.

Whilst enjoying a few days holiday in Bath you can attend a cookery school to help develop your cooking skills. The Vegetarian Cookery School has courses not only in vegetarian cooking but also other dishes including in the Spring making chocolate. The Cookery School is based in the centre of Bath, near to Demuths Restaurant in a wonderful Georgian building, with a super purpose built kitchen, light and airy and the best views of Bath Abbey.
