What’s on at The Egg

Taking little ones to the theatre can be a daunting, but The Egg is Bath’s very own theatre especially for children – and its programme is packed for the coming months. Choose from a selection of performances aimed at children and their families throughout the year, and you’ll find some of the cleverest productions you’ve seen in a long time.

Heidi – A Goat’s Tale will be enchanting audiences with a new take on an old classic from 8 December – 13 January. The take will follow the beloved book but it’s told by a hilarious herd of mountain goats! With a 2009 nomination for Best Children’s Play in the TMA awards, this show is great Christmas fun for the whole family.

Rapunzel follows on 19 January, and the show is ideal for children aged between 3 and 7. The performance lasts for one hour.

The next heroin takes to the stage on 25 and 26 January as The Egg hosts Little Red…You Know Who. The show uses colour, music and puppetry to take children on a beautiful adventure through the woods, and the show’s running time is 50 minutes.
