Victoria Art Gallery: Graham Dean Exhibition

Art and culture are two of the largest attractions for visitors to the spa city of Bath. With this in mind, if you are planning a stay at one of the local luxury hotels in Bath, why not add a trip to the Victoria Art Gallery to your itinerary and see Graham Dean’s latest exhibition?

Graham Dean’s works will be making a timely and colourful return to the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath, with his new exhibition of huge watercolours on handmade Indian paper.

During the last twelve months Dean has visited the Olympic and Paralympic training camps to make a study of the athletes. His work was then converted into large scale exhibition pieces back in his studio, documenting sportspeople in action. These paintings also explore the athlete’s emotions in their moments both before and after an event has taken place.

The exhibition will be running from July 7 – September 2, and visitors can enjoy free admission to the Victoria Art Gallery. For more information, contact: 01225 477244.

So, if you are looking to enjoy this fantastic exhibition, stay in one of the local Bath hotels like the Bailbrook Lodge and enjoy a relaxing cultural city break.
