Two Tunnels Greenway

The Two Tunnels Greenway path is a multi-use track for both walkers and cyclists through beautiful countryside where you can get a better view of Bath landscapes and nature at its best. Following an old and no longer used railway track you will go through suburbs of Bath, Devonshire Tunnel and Combe Down Tunnel. You can walk or cycle as much or as little of the track as you wish to and take advantage of the summer sunshine.

Combe Down Tunnel opened in 1874 and is an impressive 1.672 meters long, since being made part of the Sustrans network the tunnel has been fitted with motion lights and a new surface suitable for walkers and cyclists. The Two Tunnels Greenway shared path will allow you to see sights and parts of the local area that you can’t see using a car or other means of modern transport. Why not take a picnic and make it a day to remember for everyone?

Book your Bath bed and breakfast accommodation today and find many other family activities and fun days out for all. Bath gives you the best of both worlds – a modern and vibrant city with wonderful countryside, nature and the option to explore and create long lasting memories.
