The Sci-Fi, Comic & Fantasy Art Exhibition in Bath

Art can take many forms, from classic genres through to the latest contemporary pieces of work. It is widely prevalent in popular culture, as evidenced by its illustrative presence in many of the science fiction, fantasy and comic magazines.

To celebrate illustration, which adorns some the best books and magazines by artists located in the UK, there will be a special exhibition in Bath to showcase artwork from the science fiction, comic and fantasy world of fiction.

The exhibition is being held on 19 and 20 May, running from 10 am – 5 pm at the Bath Masonic Hall in the city centre and is completely free to visitors. This fantastic exhibition offers a chance for visitors to enjoy and experience some of best artwork from the UK’s finest artists. The guest of honour will be Jim Burns the internationally acclaimed Sci-fi artist and book illustrator, who will be exhibiting a generous selection of his beautiful work. Visitors will be able to purchase sci-fi books on sale and also view an exhibition of sci-fi steam punk sculpture.
