The Fine Cheese Festival in Bath

Anyone looking for a different kind of event this autumn would do well to attend “The Fine Cheese Festival” at Milsom Place. This great event is being held in the Spa city of Bath on Saturday the 29th of October and is a great event to attend, especially if you are a foodie! Plus the Fine Cheese Festival is completely free admission to all visitors.

As Somerset is home to the famous “Cheddar Cheese” from the village of Cheddar, in the Mendip Hills, what better way of paying homage to such heritage.

The event is organised by the Fine Cheese Company and has 20 of the finest artisan cheese producers from around the British Isles and Ireland attending. Visitors can sample the produce, meet the cheese makers and chat about their various cheeses and their processes.

It is an all-day event and features many UK award winning cheese makers, some of which are still making their unpasteurised Cheddar bound in cloth, which is a traditional technique.

So for this and other gastronomic events in the Spa city why not make a weekend break and book some Bath accommodation too, so you can enjoy a relaxing and tasty weekend.
