Party in the City for the Bath International Music Festival

Bath’s annual International Music Festival commences this year on May 30 and is one of the major regular attractions in this beautiful and historic city. Many of the festival events which take place during this period are free to the public.

During the twelve-day festival you will be able to choose from over 2,000 performers in 30 different venues, who will bring with them a wide range of music from folk, pop, rock, classical and choral to electronic, brass, jazz, orchestral, and world.

The Party in the City event, which is part of the Bath International Music Festival, takes place on June 1st this year. The event gets underway in a carnival style, with processions through the city; there will also be a special musical event at Bath Abbey with Adriano Adewale, the Brazilian master percussionist and composer extraordinaire. Then see the fireworks display at 10pm and after that get along to the Pavilion to dance the night away with a number of headline acts.

Visitors can enjoy the Party in the City event for free. For more information call the Bath Box Office on: 01225 463362.
