National Garden Scheme Day at Prior Park in Bath

For anyone visiting Bath soon to enjoy one of the relaxing spa breaks in Bath on offer, a visit to Bath’s Prior Park would be the perfect compliment, offering a great chance to relax in the peace & tranquilly of the beautiful area.

This coming May will see this magnificent 18th century landscape garden displaying lush green foliage and a wide range of botanicals. Prior Park, which was originally created by historical Bath entrepreneur Ralph Allen, is now going to be featured as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS) on May 6th with all admission costs being donated to the NGS.

Alternatively visitors can also enjoy the one of the special monthly guided walks available; these guided walks will take you from the usual meeting location at Bath Abbey in the centre of the city, on a gentle short walk up to the Prior Park gardens. The guided walk is completely free, although the usual admission charge will apply into the Prior Park Landscape Garden.

For more information on this free guided walk or the Prior Park Landscape Garden call: 01225 833422 or visit the National Trust website at:

So be sure to book your luxury Bath bed and breakfast soon with Bailbrook Lodge, so you can relax knowing your accommodation is secured, whilst you look forward to enjoying your visit to this wonderful city.
