Jane Austen Festival’s Regency Costumed Masked Ball in Bath

Every year there is a very special event takes place celebrating one of England’s most famous female writers. The Jane Austen Festival takes place annually during the month of September. The “Regency Costumed Masked Ball” is one of the festival’s highlights.

Jane Austen has earned herself a place as one of the most widely read writers in English literature, well known worldwide for her written works. Jane is one of Bath’s most well known and well loved historical residents, the festival is Bath’s way of celebrating her life, her books and the characters she created.

The Regency Costumed Masked Ball is being held at the Roman Baths and Pump Room at Abbey Churchyard within the Spa city of Bath on the 23rd of September at 7.00pm.  This is a costumed event and the perfect opportunity for any Jane Austen fan or lover of Regency fashion to wear their costume of choice.
