Father’s Day at Dyrham Park, near Bath

Sunday June 17, Fathers Day, is a date marked on many Dads’ calendars, so what have you got in store? Maybe you are planning a trip to the beautiful spa city of Bath for a weekend break whilst staying at one of the local hotels in Bath? Dyrham Park is a spectacular late 17th-century mansion house, grounds, garden and deer park, set in over 270 acres of beautiful countryside. Inside, visitors have a chance to experience a unique and well kept 17th-century historical property, with lavish collections which reflect the fashion for Dutch paintings and furniture of the time. Later you can see influences from the additions of 18th-century furniture by Gillow and Linnell.

This year’s Father’s Day celebrations at Dyrham Park offer a barbeque and beer tent in the garden, plus a car display of historical Morgan cars all of which will be taking place between 10am – 5pm.
