Explore the Ancient Roman Baths by Torchlight

The Somerset city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage site brimming with famous landmarks and unique features located throughout its cityscape. If you plan to stay in one of the local luxury Bath hotels in the area, you will most likely want to visit the most famous of all of those landmarks, the ancient Roman Baths in the city centre.

This summer there will be a chance for visitors to enjoy this attraction’s well preserved features during the evening. The Roman Baths offer a unique opportunity to experience some 2000-year-old architecture, whilst walking along pavements as night falls and the building is lit by torchlight.

Visitors can explore the ancient Roman Baths by torchlight from July 1 – August 31, with the last admission being at 9pm. General admission is £8.00 – £12.50, with family and season tickets also available. For more information, contact the Roman Baths on: 01225 477785.

So if you plan to enjoy a Bath city break, be sure to book your stay with the Bailbrook Lodge for a luxury Bath bed and breakfast, which is situated within easy reach of all the city’s local attractions.
