Discover Curious Coins at the Roman Baths

Let’s face it, The Roman Baths are often the highlight of a stay in a b and b in Bath no matter what the time of year, but there’s an extra special reason to visit the attraction on Monday 14th April. Curious Coins will be bringing history to life for younger visitors to the historic baths, and children will have the rare chance to investigate roman coins, learn all about them and even make themselves a replica to take home as a keepsake.

As one of the world’s most significant Roman sites, the Baths make just the place for children to start to understand more about the Roman empire and the way it changed our world, so what better place for children to get to grips with genuine Roman discoveries that will fire their imaginations? The event is included within the normal admission fee for the baths, and sessions will take place between 10-1 and 2-4 on the day.

Look out for the costumed characters that roam the site everyday while you’re there, as they’ll be dressed in the clothes of the Roman era to demonstrate how Bath’s streets would have looked all that time ago.
