Dance Theatre Comes to Bath

The world of dance theatre explodes onto the stage at Bath Spa as Award winning choreographer Jean Abreu brings ‘INSIDE’ to the city on the 28th October. The show was a dance hit during the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with sold out performances and standing ovations to this remarkable show.

The show ‘INSIDE’ draws an unusual parallel from the boredom and frustration of prison life, representing it instead through an aura of elegance and beauty. It is the latest show to come from the Brazilian born Jean Abreu, an expert in the field of choreography and dance.

Music will be provided for the event by the critically acclaimed band 65daysofstatic, a group quickly gaining international credibility for their unorthodox, ‘off the wall’ approach to music. They have gained positive attention through a strive to create their own style of music, Their Fourth album ‘We Were Exploding Away’ received tremendous reviews and has currently sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

The performance is at 8pm at Bath Spa University, in the University theatre. If you are planning to attend the frantic world of dance theatre, why make a Weekend break of it by booking into a Bath Bed and Breakfast like Bailbrook Lodge.
