Creative Bath

Bath may be a city of history and famous sights, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a fun place with plenty of opportunity to get creative too. If you’re thinking of visiting a Bath bed and breakfast but you want to do something fresh and different, why not go along to one of the workshops held at The Makery?

Few cities are as passionate about design and architecture as this one so if you come over all inspired to make your own pad a little more welcoming you can choose from a whole host of workshops to enjoy. There are home and garden sessions, fashion pointers and even children’s workshops to choose from – and the children’s ones are great fun in the run up to Christmas.

Not only are they an inventive way to keep young visitors to Bath occupied, but they’ll also make something from scratch and learn new skills during the session. Why not let them create their own gifts for friends or family? Children can choose to create key rings, cushion, pencil cases and many more objects – and each one has a colourful design and a friendly character that kids will love. The workshops are held during school holidays.
