60 Years Behind the Camera with John Gray FRPS

If you enjoy art and photography, you might like to go along to the forthcoming 60 Years Behind the Camera exhibition with work from John Gray FRPS at the Royal Photographic Society, Fenton House, in Bath from August 1 – 30. This is sure to be a treat for anyone staying at a local Bath bed and breakfast and looking to experience some art and culture during their spa city break.

The exhibition is focused on the photographic works of John Gray FRPS, who will be celebrating his 80th birthday later this year. John has experimented with a variety of photographic processes and techniques over his years as a professional photographer, and for this exhibition has recycled some of his old negatives and scanned them to make inkjet prints, many of which are included in this exhibition.

During the early 1980s, John developed a technique of copying his slides through a textured plastic sheet, which produced an ‘Impressionist’ effect on the final image.

So, if you are looking for spa breaks in Bath, this could be an ideal exhibition to add to your holiday itinerary.
