18th Century Tour and Tea at Prior Park

Century Tour and Tea at Prior ParkFor those staying in a bed and breakfast in Bath there are plenty of fantastic cultural experiences to get stuck into. Prior Park is one of the city’s most beautiful areas and, on 19th August, there is going to be an exclusive house and garden tour in honour of Ralph Allen, the man who created Prior Park.

The 18th century landscape gardens are home to the beautiful Palladian bridge and a majestic mansion, both of which will be explored on the tour which is on at 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-4pm. Ralph Allen will also be making an ‘appearance’ along the tour to tell people about his life when he lived there 250 years ago.

After the tour visitors are invited to enjoy 18th century tea and biscuits in the picturesque gardens, a fitting end to a day that takes people back in time to the prosperity of the Victorian upper-class.

This event makes for a wonderful summer day out, so book your accommodation at a B and B in Bath soon to take advantage of this event and others like these in the Bath area.
