July 28 sees the weekly Bath Farmers’ Market at the city’s Green Park Station venue, offering a myriad of local seasonal farm and garden produce available to purchase. For anyone visiting the spa city and staying in one of the local Bath hotels, this could be a great opportunity to experience and sample some local Somerset produce, and maybe take some home.
The Bath Farmers’ Market takes place at Green Park Station in the centre of the city. This venue is ideal, as it offers an undercover, year-round environment for events and local markets. The Farmers’ Market sees traders and food vendors offering an extensive range of local organic and non-organic vegetables, chicken and other meats, fish and seafood.
You will also be able to find a wide array of award-winning local cheeses, savoury pies, cakes, honeys, chutneys, jams, plus garden plants, herbs and flowers. Admission is free and the market is open from 8.30am – 1pm. For more information, call: 01761 490624
