Bath will see its annual Bath Autumn Book Festival get underway from October 5 – 16, which focuses on both authors and readers. The city of Bath can boast an enormous independent spirit for books and independent book sellers within the Georgian city.

Rare and Hard to Find Reads at the 2012 Bath Book Festival

Anyone heading to the spa city of Bath near the end of September for a city break or a holiday might just like to add the Bath Book Fair to their holiday schedule while staying in a local b and b in Bath and soaking up some of the city’s culture.

The annual Book Fair is being held in Bath’s magnificent Georgian period Assembly Rooms during September 29 – 30 and is organised by the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA). The event provides collectors or anyone interested in books generally a great opportunity to browse and buy rare, antiquarian or second-hand books, maps, manuscripts, prints, ephemera, original artwork and modern first editions, all on a wide range of subjects with most tastes being catered for.
