To celebrate the 2012 bicentennial year of Charles Dickens, the enigmatic Simon Callow, one of Britain’s finest actors, has been chosen to be the face of Dickens during this special year.
On 24th February at 8pm, Simon will appearing at St. Swithins Church in Bath to chat about this historical literary genius and his work, and offer a compelling insight into a life driven by performance.
Simon will also be at the Book Shop, delving into the life of Dickens and also his own acclaimed career. He has starred in a number of Hollywood and English cinema classics like Howards End and Four Weddings and a Funeral, to name just two.
This special evening is a great opportunity to meet the great actor and hear him talk about the life and works of Charles Dickens in this intimate setting.
