Many people enjoy therapeutic spa breaks in Bath, and if you are planning a holiday which also includes a wealth of arts and culture, then the city could be just the place for you.
August 10 – 11 sees the Lord Chamberlains’ Men performing an outdoor theatre production of ‘Macbeth’ within the grounds of the Dyrham Park estate. Now owned by the National Trust, the venue is a beautifully elegant 17th-century mansion, just six miles from Bath.
The theatrical company performing in their outdoor theatre in the grounds will provide a wonderful rendition of Shakespeare’s tragic tale. This will be a show full of ghostly apparitions and action-packed sword fights, which is sure to get the audience’s heart racing on these summer evenings; just bring along a picnic and enjoy!
