If you are an avid motorsport fan and you are travelling to Bath in early September for a well-earned city break, how about putting a day aside for the King of Clubs Motorcycle Race Day on September 1 at Bath’s local race circuit at Castle Combe?
This is the biggest club championship race meeting in the UK, which has everything from sidecars to a round of the prestigious and exciting 250GP ACU National Championship. This is the first time in over 20 years this event has been staged at Castle Combe and is not to be missed.
Even if you are staying in a local luxury Bath bed and breakfast for your accommodation, you will be well placed for this event, as Castle Combe is less than 15 miles from the spa city.
The event commences at 8.45AM on Saturday. Ticket prices range from £7.50 for senior citizens to £15 for adults and free-entry for under-16s. For more information call 01249 782417 / 782929 or visit the Castle Combe website.
After the excitement of the racing, why not combine your stay with one of the relaxing spa breaks in Bath to enhance your stay?
