Anyone heading to Somerset’s spa city for one of the relaxing spa breaks in Bath or to enjoy some of the city’s rich culture on offer while staying in a local b and b in Bath, you may well like to enjoy one of the forthcoming classical concerts celebrating the life and works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The Bath Mozartfest is an annual event which will be taking place during November 9 – 17 and will see a whole host of talented musical artists taking to the stage for a variety of wonderful daytime and evening concerts.
This year’s penultimate concert will feature the London Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hannu Lintu and accompanied by Angela Hewitt on piano and Bath Camerata. The concert will take place at Bath’s Forum venue on the November 17 at 7.30PM.
The concert will feature the following pieces of music:
Schumann Nachtlied for chorus and orchestra Op 108
Mozart Piano Concerto No 24 in C minor K 491
Tchaikovsky Symphony No 6 in B minor Pathétique
