For anyone looking to enjoy a mix of pastimes on their Bathcity break to-do-list, then why not mix in a little rural exercise into your holiday itinerary with one of the local walks? This coming month sees a wonderful rural National Trust property, DyrhamPark, offering a specially organised country walk, which is perfect if you happen to be staying in a local b and b in Bath.
The walk will take place on November 4 at 10.30AM and will be led by the local Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, who will take participants from the meeting point at the magnificent Dyrham Park house across some of the estate’s272 acres, local nearby farmland and part of the Cotswold Way, which will take in various historical points of interest along the way. Walkers should be able to complete the walk in around 2.5 hours, with the walking route being rated as moderate.
