This time of year is a great time to head to Somerset’s spa city to enjoy one of the relaxing spa breaks in Bath, along with the city’s rich cultural heritage, while staying at a luxury Bath bed and breakfast. Annually, the spa city of Bath offers visitors a plethora of cultural events and shows throughout the year.
So, if you would like to enjoy one of the great forthcoming autumn shows in Bath, why not get along to the Theatre Royal Bath and see the award-winning production of Driving Miss Daisy during October 30 – November 3?Inspired by the 1989 Hollywood movie and adapted from the original play by Alfred Uhry of the same name, this play sees the much loved British actress Gwen Taylor playing the prickly Daisy Werthan, with Don Warrington playing the role of the kind-hearted chauffeur. This is a charming, poignant and utterly compelling tale of an unlikely, long-lasting friendship, which makes for a perfect evening at the theatre.
Performances are Tuesday and Saturday evenings from 7.30pm, ticket prices range from £17.50 – £33.50.
