Many people enjoy spa breaks in Bath, as the city is the number one spa destination in the UK, but for many others it’s the attraction of its widespread historic heritage which is most attractive.

If you are visiting Bath during August and looking for activities or things to do, how about the Astronomical Star Party taking place in Victoria Park? This is being held in collaboration with the Wiltshire Astronomical Society and the William Herschel Society; the event will take place on August 11 at 8pm in front of Number 1 Royal Crescent.

Visitors can join in the fun to view the Moon and Saturn on this evening, so why not bring a picnic and some warm clothes and participate in this fun public stargazing event?

This is a free event and is open to families and their children, with the aim being to make astronomy more accessible to people of all ages. For more information, contact: 01225 446865
