November 4th sees a special walk organised by the local park ranger, which takes visitors and participants on a walk around Bath’s famous skyline. The walk starts off at the meeting point outside Bath Abbey in the centre at 10AM; here, your ranger guide will take you on the six mile route which takes in an Iron Age Fort, beautiful hidden valleys and woodlands before reaching the magnificent 18th century landscape garden at Prior Park. If you are planning a break around early November and want to encompass a great bonfire night display and the Guy Fawkes celebrations, why not head to the city of Bath. This is a collaborative event which is organised by Rotary Club of Bath and the Bath University’s Students’ Union fundraising group RAG (Raise and Give).

The bonfire night display will be taking place at the Bath recreation ground on Saturday November 3. Gates open at 6PM and there will be live entertainment on the outer field between 7 – 8PM with the fireworks display starting 8.15PM. Continue reading
